Our story

Troy Income & Growth Trust was launched as Glasgow Income Trust in 1988 and has been managed by Troy Asset Management since July 2009. Troy was appointed to deliver a combination of above-average returns with lower-than-average volatility and dividend growth to long-term savers. Troy Asset Management is a privately owned, independent investment boutique whose conservative investment approach aims to protect and grow its investors’ capital over the long term. Troy was established in 2000 by the late Lord Weinstock and Sebastian Lyon to serve investors who shared their long-term and absolute return focussed approach to investment.

Troy’s strengths come from its independent structure, strong governance, culture and alignment of interest with investors.

Troy is passionately committed to investment trusts and currently manages three: Troy Income & Growth Trust, Personal Assets Trust and STS Global Income & Growth Trust.
